I love to take idili as my breakfast early in the morning and when i am out of station, they are healthy and less time taking. Apart from traditional idili making that is made by using Urad dal , this Brown Rice oats idili are healthy and tasty.
This quantity makes around 8 Idilis (muffins)
Ingredients Required:
Brown Rice: 3 Cups
Urad dal: 1 Cup
Pressed Rice : 1/4th Cup
Fenu greek : 1/2 Tspoon
Oats: 1/4th Cup
Salt: As required
Water: As required
Procedure:
This is usually served with sambar and coconut chutney.

Procedure:
- First we need to wash the brown rice about 2-3 times , soak it in one bowl and then again we need to soak Urad Dal, Fenu greek, pressed rice, oats for about 4 hrs.
- After 4 hrs we need remove the water and wash it , mix salt and grind it smoothly by adding water as required.
- Then we need to keep the grinded mixture aside for about 12 hrs and then completion of 12hrs we need to mix it properly and then we can make Idilis and it takes around 15 minutes.
This is usually served with sambar and coconut chutney.
