Egg cut

Egg cut is very easy to prepare , suitable to take as a side dish along with the Rice, Biryani, Fried rice and here is the Ingredients and preparation method for Egg cut:











Ingredients:
Red Tomatoes: 1 kg
Mint leaves: 2 bunches
Red Mirchi: 3
pepper: 3 T spoons
Garammasala : 1/2 T spoon
Ginger Garlic paste: 3 T spoons
Fried Bengal gram: 100gms
Eggs: 5
Coconut milk : 1 glass
Salt: as required
For Tempering/tadka:
oil: 3 t spoons
Red mirchi : 3
Mustard seeds: T spoon
Cumin seeds: T spoon
Curry leaf: 1 bunch

Preparation method for Egg cut:
1.We need to boil the Eggs and then cut the boiled egg in to two pieces and keep at a side
2. Next we need to grind the Bengal gram in to powder and then add water to make it a thick paste.
3.Then we need to take tomatoes and cut into small pieces , boil it in 1 liter of water, in the mean while we need to take a fine cloth or new kerchief add mint leaves, red chilli, pepper, Garammasala, Ginger garlic paste and tie the kerchief/cloth ,drop this into the boiling water.
4.After half an hour switch off the stove and cool it, then grind the tomatoes and filter the juice in to one bowl and now light the stove keep the bowl of tomato juice, add the Bengal gram paste and mix it until it become thicker, then add coconut milk and salt to it.
5. Now in another pan take the ingredients required for tempering  and add it the tomato juice, now add the Egg pieces that's it Egg cut is ready to eat.

This is usually taken as side dish for fried rice, biryani etc.,let me know your opinion and views as well. Thanks for reading.

Baby corn bajji snack

Baby Corn are healthy , we can prepare many healthy snacks with this right now i want to share how to make baby corn bajji ,

Ingredients required for preparing Baby Corn Bajji snack:
Baby corn : 8
Gram flour or Besan: 1/2 cup
Rice flour: 2 Tspoons
Salt: as required
Idili batter (if available): 2 table spoons
Baking soda: pinch
Turmeric powder: pinch
Oil: As required

For preparing of Masalamixture paste:
green chillies: 2 or 3
Salt: as required
Ginger garlic paste: 1 Tspoon
Cilantro or kothimeera or dhaniya:  as required
this all should be grinded and keep it a side

Preparation method for baby Corn bajji :

We have to add rice flour to gram flour, add salt, baking soda, masalamixture paste and add water to it , make the texture like of a dosa batter.

Then take the Baby corn slice it into two piece
Add oil into the cooking pan and then dip the baby corn slices in to the batter and just fry it  later after frying for a while garnish with cilantro and serve it with tomato sauce. That's it yummy Baby corn snack is ready to eat.

Veg Bullets tasty snack

Veg Bullets is one of my favorite snack ,it is very easy to prepare in less time and can take it as evening snack and children will love this tasty food snack item. Here it is ,

Ingredients:
Potatoes: 1/2 Kilo
Carrot: 1/4 kilo
Green peas: 1 cup
Onion : 1cup finely chopped
Bread : 4 slices
Corn flour: 2 spoons
Salt : as required
Red chilli powder: as required
Garam masala: 1 spoon
Ginger Garlic paste: 1 1/2 spoon
Bread powder: as required
Oil: as required
mint leaves: 1/4th cup

Preparation method for veg Bullets:
First we need to peel the skin of potatoes, Carrots  wash it, keep aside in a bowl, then in the same way we need to take green peas in another bowl and we need to boil these two  in a cooker and boil it for a few minutes.

 After boiling, we need to smash potatoes and carrots, then add green peas, salt, red chilli powder, Garammasala, Ginger garlic paste, onion chopped and mix it properly, then to harden the mixture we need to add corn flour, bread slices and lastly mint leaves chopped finely into small pieces, keep it a side for a few minutes.

Then add the oil in a cooking pan and take the mixture, make the shape like a bullet, and dip it in the bread powder the fry it for a while and then take into a plate , then again fry it until it become dark red in color and that's it Veg bullets are ready to  serve and can have it with tomato sauce or any chutney. This can be called as a healthy snack as we use all the vegetables.

Brown Rice Oats Idli

I love to take idili as my breakfast early in the morning and when i am out of station, they are healthy and less time taking. Apart from traditional idili making that is made by using Urad dal , this Brown Rice oats idili are healthy and tasty.
This quantity makes around 8 Idilis (muffins)
Ingredients Required:

Brown Rice: 3 Cups
Urad dal: 1 Cup
Pressed Rice : 1/4th Cup
Fenu greek : 1/2 Tspoon
Oats: 1/4th Cup
Salt: As required
Water: As required


Procedure:
  • First we need to wash the brown rice about 2-3 times , soak it in one bowl and then again we need to soak Urad Dal, Fenu greek, pressed rice, oats for about 4 hrs.
  • After 4 hrs we need remove the water and wash it  ,  mix salt and grind it smoothly by adding water as required.
  • Then we need to keep the grinded mixture aside for about 12 hrs and then completion of 12hrs we need to mix it properly and then we can make Idilis and it takes around 15 minutes.

 This is usually served with sambar and coconut chutney.
